Dear participant of a workshop/retreat (“event”),
Stated below are our terms & conditions regarding bookings for both “events” and reservations at Las Mecías.
1 Registration, Confirmation
1.1 By registering for the chosen “event”, you offer Las Mecías the binding conclusion of a contract on the basis of the title of the “event”.
Acceptance to the “event” is subject to the following:
– Online booking conclusion with agreement to the general terms and conditions
– Receipt of the deposit and / or payment in full
– Confirmation from Las Mecías
On-site admission will be granted at the sole discretion of Las Mecías and we reserve the right to refuse admission.
2. Payment
All prices and payments are in Euro, unless stated otherwise.. If you book online, you will be required to make a bank transfer. Details of the account are provided in the booking form or via email.
For this, Las Mecías offers two payment options -
Full payment
50% deposit, with the remaining amount due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
If your booking is made within 4 weeks of the “event” date, the full amount is due at the time of booking. You will be responsible for any bank charges that may be incurred. If a deposit / final payment is not received within the specified time frame, Las Mecías reserves the right to withdraw the participant from the contract, after an unsuccessful reminder and appropriate deadline for payment and to charge you, as a customer, with cancellation costs.
3. Services, changes to travel description, price changes before conclusion of the contract
3.1 The scope of Las Mecías’ contractual services results exclusively from the content of the booking confirmation in connection with the detailed description of the service description on the website (www.granjalasmecias.com) applicable to the relevant event description.
3.2 If, at your request, Las Mecías organizes an individual itinerary, it shall be an obligation to execute exclusively on the secured corresponding offer to you and the corresponding booking confirmation.
4. Changes to travel due to COVID-19 safety measures.
4.1 Changes to essential travel services after conclusion of the booking confirmation of the “event” and/or reservation implemented by government officials are to be exchanged in a credit or refund.
4.2. If any changes occur within less than 2 weeks before the arrival date of the “event”, your booking/reservation is not subject to reimbursement.
5. Cancellation by the customer
5.1 You can cancel your booking at any time before the start of the “event” or reservation. The date of receipt of the cancellation by Las Mecías is decisive. We recommend requesting the cancellation by writing to us at hola@granjalasmecias.com
5.2 In the event of a cancellation, refunds are calculated as follows -
8 weeks prior - 50% refund of total sum
4 weeks prior - 25% refund of total sum
Less than 4 weeks - 0% refund of total sum
Please bear in mind that all deposits are non-refundable (deposits are 50% of total sum)
6. Liability waiver
6.1 Please be aware that the instructors/team do not assume any responsibility for determining your medical fitness to participate in a class, nor assume any responsibility for any injuries. It is the responsibility of the student to inform the instructor of any medical conditions (i.e. high blood pressure, joint problems, eye problems etc.) which should be taken into consideration while participating in any “event” (workshop, retreat)..I will not put my body in any position that does not feel comfortable. If I feel any pain I will stop immediately. I agree to waive claims against any persons connected with practice for any injuries I may sustain and assume full responsibility for all my actions related to practice. I understand and agree to the conditions set out above.
7. Data protection
7.1 The personal data that you provide to us will be electronically processed and used to the extent necessary for the establishment, implementation or termination of the travel contract and for customer service. You have the possibility at any time to retrieve your stored data, to request information about them, to change them or to have them deleted. By sending a message to hola@granjalasmecias.com. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Should any of the above provisions be or become invalid, the remaining conditions shall nevertheless remain valid and the validity of the travel contract shall remain unaffected. This contract and the entire contractual and legal relationship between the customer and Las Mecías shall be governed exclusively by Spanish law.
